KSO was founded on a unique combination of real-world operational leadership and a lifetime dedicated to education, training, and developing people. With over 20 years of service as a California Highway Patrol officer in a variety of assignments — including patrol, investigations, training, and administration — I developed deep expertise in operations, risk management, investigations, and the importance of sound judgment in high-stakes environments.

Building on that foundation, I've spent over 30 years in education and training as an educator, administrator, and curriculum developer — equipping individuals and organizations with the knowledge, skills, and mindset needed to grow, lead, and succeed.

KSO brings these two worlds together — the discipline and rigor of law enforcement operations with the insight and methodology of professional education — to deliver consulting services that are both practical and transformative.
